How do I set up notifications on DMSS?

Text guide:

There are two separate ways to set up mobile notifications on your phone through DMSS, and I will go over both of them as well as what they’re used for.

single camera notifications:

This method allows you to set up mobile notifications for each camera individually

Step 1:

The first step is to tap on the icon indicated by the triangle inside the circle, this will take you to the camera system overview page.

Next is to select the specific camera you want notifications from by tapping on it, you can tell the camera is selected by the blue outline on the video, once it is selected you can tap on the camera settings symbol indicated by the circle inside the hexagon on the top right

Now that the the camera settings page is open, tap on the “notification” area.

The final step is to tap on the button on the right, and you will now get notifications sent to your phone from this specific camera

Camera system notifications:

This method allows for less customization but is easier and more encompassing, it will turn on notifications for every single camera in your system all at once

From the DMSS homepage, click the 3 little dots on the camera system you want, and then tap on “Device Details” which should pop up, this will take you to the camera systems settings and details page

Setting up notifications from here is very similar to how it is done on individual cameras, first click on the area labeled “multi-channel Alarm Subscription”
