How do I extract footage from DMSS into my photos for permanent retention

Text guide:

Step 1:

Start by tapping the button icon showing the triangle with a circle inside

step 2:

Search for the camera view you want to extract the footage from and double tap it, or tap it and press “playback”

Then find the time frame you want to record

step 3:

When you are at the start of the time frame you want to record, tap on the icon to the right of the camera that looks like a recorder. This will start recording, tap it one more time to stop recording.

Step 4:

In order to find the recording, go back to the home page, then at the bottom click on the icon labeled “me”. Then on this page tap on the “All” button in the “My Files” section

Any recordings you make through DMSS will appear here

Step 5:

To save the video directly to your device, click on the icon in the top right, shown as a square with a line going through the top right. You can now select any videos you have on this page, and tapping the middle bottom button, shown as a floppy disk icon will save any selected videos directly to your camera roll
